World Book Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Lalit Mahajan SVM Senior Secondary School on 23rd April 2026. The programme was held under the guidance of Principal Sir Shri Sanjay Sharma Ji and was organized to encourage students to develop the habit of reading books and to understand the importance of literature in our lives.

The event began with a speech by Sagar of Class XII-A on the topic World Book Day. He explained the importance of books and described them as our best friends. After that, Himanshi of Class XII-A spoke on My Favorite Stories About Nature. She shared beautiful thoughts about nature and the lessons that stories about nature teach us.
Next, Srishti of Class XII-A presented a review of The Kite Runner. She spoke confidently about the story and its message. Then, Adhya of Class XII-C shared ideas from the book Atomic Habits. She explained how small habits can bring big changes in our lives.

At the end of the programme, our Vice Principal, Mrs. Mamta Sharma Ji, gave motivational words to the students. She inspired everyone to read good books regularly and make reading a part of their daily life.

The celebration was informative, inspiring, and enjoyable for all.
